Sisters Take Fashion Week Day 1

Posted by Rhianna McCormick-Burns on

Fashion week in two days is the mantra for Sisters & Co as we smashed out our range viewing and went to fashion week shows.

Bagel stop first then it was straight off the rank Juliette Hogan’s range showing for winter 18 and what a treat that was. Juliette and her gorgeous team guided us through the collection that consisted of luxe velvet, satins in merlot and champagne, whimsical prints and out of this world lace.

A quick stop on K Road after that was a must then it was onto the Deadly Ponies Winter 18, which was an amazing fantasy world of new colourways, shapes and textures. It was also fantastic to be guided through the studio and workroom and meet some of the fantastic artisans that create the beautiful brand all sourced AND made in New Zealand.

Then off to fashion week for the Kathryn Wilson show and what a treat that was. The show was fashionably late which gave us plenty of time to crowd watch with New Zealand’s fashonistas out in force. Amber Peebles was looking stunning in tasseled leather pants, Matilda and Art were cutest couple, Julia Matthews was rocking the show and Anna Reeves was juggling kids and fashion week with stunning ease.

Then it was catch up time with the girls from Lindi Kingi and Queen of Foxes and Together Journal – so nice to see familiar local girls after a days of fashion fever! Oh and we got to met the super cute Cedric the pug.
