Queenstown is the gem of the South Island and also a favourite holiday destination for shoe darling of the nation Kathryn Wilson.
It makes sense then that this is the location that hosts the annual Kathryn Wilson Clicquot in the Snow Fashion Show.
This is the sixth year that Kathryn has held this event and it has gained such momentum that it is now one of the hottest events on the fashion calendar with tickets selling out in record time this year.
The show sees the launch of her new Spring/Summer 16 campaign and guests are treated to a fashion extravaganza on the Earnslaw Steamship and promises to be highlight of the Clicquot in the Snow 2016 calendar
Here are some Q & A with the designer herself on the weekend of her catwalk show!
Why are you attracted to Queenstown? It’s a mixture of the wonderful people, breathtaking landscape and the great restaurants and bars.
Where is first place you would take visiting family and friends? On board the majestic TSS Earnslaw to visit Walker Peak or to Eichardts Bar for the goats cheese Tapas.
Where are the best places to eat and drink? My favourite places to eat are Botswana Butchery, Madame Woo and Rata and I love the martinis at Bardeaux or the Blue Door in Arrowtown.
Where would we find you when you get a day off after the launch? The Hush Spa – I could stay there for days!
Describe your summer 16/17 collections in one word? FABULOUS!
