Local and New Zealand jewellery designers are doing us proud as these clever girl bosses wow us with their creativity and style. New to Sisters & Co is local stunner Ella Drake with her jewellery line Monarc.

Growing up in the Bay of Plenty Ella Drake left at the age of 18-years-old to pursue at international career in modeling. As well as being the face of Gucci she also appeared in Vogue Gioiello (the jewellery edition). It was here that cemented her love of fine jewellery.

Her experience of international travel at various fashion houses across the globe, being exposed to some many cultures and her study at the Florence campus of Gemological Institute of America prior to launching her jewellery design has given her brand an international elegant feel.

Delivering quality craftsmanship paired with intelligent design Sisters & Co are so honored to be the Bay of Plenty stockists of Monarc Jewellery so come in and check out the designs.

New to Sisters & Co this season is jewellery institute Meadowlark. Designed by partners in life and business Claire Hammon and Greg Fromont, the duo designs pieces that are famine but with an edge that comes from backgrounds in graphic design and skate culture. With a slightly dark and utterly unique aesthetic Sisters & Co are so excited to add Meadowlark to their jewellery portfolio with Rhianna and Lorde already fans of the brand.

And last but not least Sisters and Co continues their long-standing love affair with Zoe & Morgan with their latest collection Palace of the Sun. Zoe & Morgan is a family affair run with the jewellery designed by Zoe, her brother Morgan and the retail side run by her sister Ruth in London.

This is their 24th collection and they have dedicated their designs to the Sun. Zoe said: “Our lives are defined by the sun, it brings life to our world and gives us the concept of time. All life takes its spark from the sun, its rays symbolise light and life and all that is good in this world.” With sun shapes, sunbeam rings, equinox rings, eclipse earrings and my absolute favourite the sunburst earrings this is a collection that makes you feel the sun is shining even in the rain! With so many amazing designers and incredible styles it’s an honour to showcase some amazing jewellery designers.
