New to Sisters & Co is REMAIN, a New Zealand based clothing label that specialise in casual dressing and wardrobe stapes that you will return to every single season. We are delighted to introduce this collection both in store and online! We spoke to one of the designers behind REMAIN about the collection...
Can you tell us how and why you started REMAIN?
Remain started as a passion project in our office, I am lucky enough to work on this with two amazing girls Alex and Alice. We started to develop a few styles that we wanted in our wardrobes, next thing we knew we had a little collection and thought - why not give this a try!
What is the inspiration behind the collection?
It's all about casual everyday pieces things you can dress up or down with a slight Boho/Rock Chic undertone. Our inspiration was to not so much develop a cohesive collection in the fashion sense - but just a range of really amazing must have things girls will love and wear and that style well together.
Who is the REMAIN girl?
Me ha ha!! - No she is a little bit rock and roll a little bit beach babe and takes an effortless not over done, not too serious approach to every day dressing. I’m a big believer in never keeping anything for best if you love it thrash it !
What is your favourite piece in the collection? How would you style this piece?
This would have to be a tie between the Storm leggings - I honestly don't know where I would be without these, they are the perfect skinny leather pant. I wear them far too often and love them with all our oversized jackets and jumpers.
Also the Scene Parka, I love the easiness of this piece - my go to outfit this Winter would be our The Scene Parka belted with our Classic Tee and and of course the Storm Leggings.
